Weddings
As your wedding celebrant I offer a fully professional service.
I will conduct your wedding with warmth, compassion, pride and dignity.
I am reliable and well groomed and will dress appropriately to the theme of your wedding.
I do recognise that this is your day and it should be memorable and truly special. This day should be treasured, with the words of love and the deep feelings you have for each other that will bring a lifetime of dreams and happiness.
My promise to you is that I will assist you throughout the entire process.
I am able to write a ceremony or we can create a special ceremony together. I do offer a variety of ideas, types of ceremonies, readings and poetry. These examples will be in the booklet, called 'Your Choices'.
In this Booklet you will be help you to choose a memorable ceremony which will reflect you as a couple. It also contains a section on how to write your vows. (this booklet is given once the deposit has been paid).

If a rehearsal is required, this can also be arranged.
I have various props and equipment and can be used on the day, including a PA system.
Legal
Civil ceremonies are marriages which are non-religious and are conducted by the celebrant in Australia.
A short initial interview is carried out to meet each other to discuss your plans, ideas and the legal procedures pertaning to your marriage..
As a marriage celebrant I will require certain information and proof of identity to lodge and complete the ‘Notice of Intended Marriage’ (NOIM) form. This appointment can take approximately 1 hour and a lodgement fee is payable at this time. Please note that this notice is valid for a period no less than one calendar month and one day prior to the wedding and a maximum period of 18 months.
I will require the Original Birth Certificate or Full copy obtained form the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
If you were born overseas, a Birth Certificate (translated in English) or Passport will be required. If this is misplaced, you can obtain a copy from the Embassy.
If you are a Widow or Widower, a Death Certificate of your spouse. If you have misplaced this, you can obtain a copy from the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
If you were previously divorced, you will need to obtain a Decree Absolute or a Certificate of Divorce. If you have misplaced this document you can obtain this from the Family Court of Australia.Sydney@familycourt.gov.au
The Ceremony usually takes approximately 20-30 minutes and requires two witnesses over the age of 18 years to sign the documents on the day of your Wedding.
Costs
My marriage ceremony fee includes the following:
- Creation of a unique and personalised ceremony.
- A worksheet and check list for your convenience.
- Unlimited consultations with me either personally or by phone, or email.
- An initial meeting in my office or place of your choice. To undertake the legal paperwork and thoroughly discussing your wedding ceremony.
- Rehearsal and practice your vows with you, if that is what you wish.
- Preparing all the legal documents prior, during and after the wedding.
- Undertaking the lodgement of said documents.
- Presentation copy of your Certificate of Marriage.
- Travel within the metropolitan area.
- The use of my PA System with CD player during the ceremony.
- Presentation copy of your ceremony to keep as a memento of your wedding day.
If you have chosen a park or public outdoor setting for your ceremony, you will need to contact the Council for permission. There is often a small fee and you will be given a permission number, I will need to record that number.
Refund Policy
Deposit paid is non refundable as this deposit covers the administration costs.
I will discuss this with more detail at our first interview.
